… but are definitely worth a look!

Today I want to show you five Android games, that are not very popular but very fun to play and need more attention.
I don’t want to talk to long, let’s get started with the first game!

Trid by Kenney.nl

Trid is a game, where you have to recreate different patterns as fast as you can. You get time after every pattern you successfully recreated. Do not assume this is easy, it’s hard. You don’t have time to drink a tea and play besides.
Nevertheless, this game is fun. It’s hard, but addictive. You always want to beat your record. And if it’s boring, just try another of the 5 game modes. The game modes are, normal, sudden death (make no mistakes), memory (patterns fades away), mirror mode (pattern is mirrored) and training (no time limit).

Super Hexagon by Terry Cavanagh

Super Hexagon is hard, and with hard I mean really hard. You’ll hate this game, but you’ll be addicted to it. It’s so fun to play but, so hard. Do I already said it’s hard?
This isn’t a really game which you might not know, but it’s to cool to not recommend it. The  object of play is, to live as long as you can. You’re a small triangle in the center of your screen, from the outside are constantly floating obstacles towards you and you simply have to avoid them. Sounds simple, eh? This is wrong, you are really stressed and will loose constantly, but can’t stop playing.

Velocispider by Noodlecake Studios Inc

Velocispider is an old fashioned top scrolling shooter, very similar to space invaders. You are a big Velocispider with a gun on the head. Nothing special. The goal is, to defend your eggs and don’t die while you try to approach this. Different stages and bosses trying to kill and / or steal your eggs do not make your (virtual) life easier. The only bad thing in this game are the controls … you have to use the motion sensor in your phone or tablet. Hopefully screen controls are coming soon.

Hyperactive Ninja by Ninja Coders

Hyperactive Ninja is a fast-paced platformer inspired by Super Meatboy and Canabalt. Both very awesome games, if you don’t know them, check em out.
In this game your an coffe addicted ninja, I guess your basically one of the developers, because they are named “Ninja Coders”. Your mission is to recover all the coffee the evil shogun has stolen from all around the country. You do this by fighting through more than 45 different levels.

Flow Cube by Bluefire

Flow Cube is a puzzle game, you get a cube and have to connect the different colors. But, there is a twist, the cube is in same sized smaller rectangles devided, on each of those rectangles can only have one color. Sounds interesting? It is interesting.
